BOARD MEETING MINUTES
AUGUST 4, 2009

Present: Dick Sonderegger, Mark Wilson, Karen Suponski, Elaine Thoms, Sue Nilsen, Steve Walczewski (Absent: Linda Knorr, Lance Bushey)
Call to order 7:35pm
MSC to accept minutes from September 18, 2008 and September 28, 2008
§ 39 residents paid
§ On June 30, after insurance premium paid, balance is $4537
§ Discussion re upper road mailbox replacement, not enough finances to purchase, recommend waiting another year. Will get plywood, etc, to temporarily fix the top of the existing boxes.
§ Sue can’t attend annual meeting, but will prepare report.
§ Sue recommends not raising dues this year.
§ Beach in good shape…recognized Jim Moloney’s hard work keeping up with raking, etc.
§ Had to hold off on some painting projects due to monsoon (!!)
§ Canoe racks – Elaine will look them over to see if they need any repairs.
§ A road inspection request being submitted to the town for 2009/2010 season prior to plowing
§ Roads in good shape this year…only one damaging rainfall this season, but the repair was made quickly to the lower W Lakeview section (the only occurrence of a washout).
§ Discussion re “Thank you” to Jim Moloney for his diligent work heading up the weed committee
§ Discussion re new board position openings
§ Lock combination needs to be changed for the beach. Notice to be included with bill for dues stating that it will be reset on August 30. The combination will be given out to those members who paid their dues.
§ Annual association meeting set for Sunday, August 16 at 5pm on the beach. Dick to mail out notice, and will include a reminder of the lake access rules, etc.
